Future MLB stars are trained and finessed right here in our backyard with the Lake Elsinore Storm, the Minor League Baseball Class-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres. The Lake Elsinore Storm are major contenders in the California League of Champions, having appeared in the championship series two times in the last three championships and claiming the title of California League champions in 2022. During their appearance in the 2024 championship, the team nobly pledged a percentage of their ticket revenue for fire relief efforts against the nearby Airport fire. The team plays its home games at Lake Elsinore Diamond, which opened in 1994 and seats 7,866 fans. Check them out next season and enjoy witnessing budding MLB talent before your eyes.
