The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division (NSWC) Industry Day
Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division (NSWC) is excited to be hosting its Industry Day on 21 May 2014 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Building 511 located at 1999, Fourth Street, Norco CA 92860. A receipt for the entrance fee will be provided.
NSWC Corona is one of nine Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Warfare Centers. Our mission is to provide test and evaluation, systems engineering, integrated logistics support, in-service engineering, integration of surface ship weapons, and warfare systems. NSWC Corona is the Navy’s independent assessment agent and home to three premier National Laboratory and Assessment Centers: Joint Warfare Assessment Lab (JWAL); Measurement Science and Technology Lab (MSTL); and Daugherty Memorial Assessment Center (DMAC). Additionally, NSWC Corona provides objective analysis and independent assessments, calibration and the science of measurement and range systems engineering and instrumentation.
The purpose of this Industry Day is to provide our command with the opportunity to expand its business base by meeting with companies that offer products, services and technologies that are compatible with the current and future requirements of NSWC Corona in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 10. In addition, we will provide a basic understanding of the NSWC Corona mission, and will provide a general forecast of possible future requirements, potential contracting and/or subcontracting opportunities, meet-and-greet sessions with NSWC Corona Technical Departments and customers. This Industry Day will provide a great opportunity for networking with other industry representatives.
A notional agenda for this event includes presentations by the NSWC Corona Commanding Officer, several Technical Departments, the Chief Technology Officer, and the Deputy Director of Small Business. There will also be separate sessions to learn about the following programs: Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR), Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) and Small Business Technology Transfer Program (STTR).
To ensure a successful Industry Day, we encourage interested parties to register early and complete all of the required visitor information at the earliest possible opportunity. Registration is based on a first come first serve basis and will close once the maximum capacity of 130 attendees has been reached.
