This is a reminder that the Norco Farmer’s Market starts operation this
Saturday, September 11 from 10am to 4pm at the Community Center Parking Lot
at Hamner Avenue and Sixth Street. Your ongoing support of this worthy event
will be much appreciated.
The Norco Farmer’s Market Management Committee includes Manager Lori
Maxfield, Treasurer Pam Zogg and Community Coordinator Kelli Coates.
A Farmer’s Market serves many purposes, two of which include:
- It fosters a sense of community. For Norco, this re-emphasizes an
original motto of the City – “Acres of Neighbors”
- It is good for the environment. The more local goods are consumed
locally, the less need there is for transportation which reduces congestion
on our roadways and decreases air pollution.
So please do your best to plan your shopping in such a way that The Norco
Farmer’s Market can depend on your support on an ongoing basis.
