Description
This session will be an interactive Q&A session to highlight the key points of the CARES Act as it relates to small businesses, sole proprietors, self-employed and independent contractors with respect to the Paycheck Protection Program and Economic Injury Disaster Loans. As a bonus, we will also be touching on some additional information regarding how COVID-19 is affecting people's obligations in both business and real estate contracts.
About the presenter: Educated in the UK and licensed in California and New York, Simon Khinda spearheads KCKW LLP's Transactional Practice advising businesses locally, nationally and internationally. Simon advises clients in industries as diverse as software, healthcare, manufacturing, real estate, finance, F&B, retail and non-profit. Simon has enjoyed successful stints in Malaysia, India, Dubai and Saudi Arabia where he was integral in handling transactions valued over $400 million as well as multi-jurisdictional corporate structuring.
