At Time Warner Cable we are not looking to just fill jobs, we are looking to build careers. Our Direct Sales Representatives are the evolving face of our company and provide our customers with innovative and competitive products and services.
A Direct Sales Representative's responsibility is to sell and promote Time Warner Cable products to residential customers with focus on video, high-speed internet and phone services. Increase product penetration through winning back former customers and acquisition of new customers. Consult with customers and prospects to promote the breadth of Time Warner Cable products and services within an assigned area. Learn customers’ short term and long-term needs and recommend products and service applications to meet those needs.
This position will require excellence in consultative selling to develop customer understanding of the benefits of Time Warner Cable products and services as compared to competition.
Essential Job Functions:
Successful track record with sales quotas and target goals.
Gain in-depth knowledge of our innovative offerings, products and services.
A persistent self-starter who can effectively highlight our products and how they compare to our competitors in order to influence new customers.
Have current knowledge and understanding of the Cable, Satellite or Telecom Industries.
Will target former customers, door to door, to position and sell all of Time Warner Cable’s product sets, including, but not limited to Digital Phone, Video, High-Speed internet service and Mobile Internet products and other ancillary offerings.
Each month the Direct Sales Representatives (DSRs) will be assigned and responsible for targeting former portfolios of Time Warner Cable customer homes.
Portfolios may change as business climate varies.
DSRs must achieve and maintain the minimum performance standards as communicated by the senior sales leadership team.
DSRs are required to work a 40 hour work week.
Requirements:
Must have a valid CA driver’s license along with a clean and satisfactory driving record.
Minimum 3-5 years sales experience.
Must have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable presenting to small groups.
Representatives should be energetic; articulate; confident and persuasive.
