Many families purchase Halloween costumes that are only worn once. The Shops at Dos Lagos invites you to recycle your gently used costumes to help preserve the environment and ease your budget by exchanging them for a “new to you” gently used costume.
Bring gently worn Halloween costumes, from baby to adult sizes, on hangers with accessories, to the Dos Lagos Management Office through October 7 to participate in the unique recycling activity. You will receive a certificate for each costume which you can use to select a “new” gently used costume on Saturday, October 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Dos Lagos Stadium 15 Theatre. Costumes remaining after 5 p.m. on October 8 will be donated to families served by The Foundation for Community and Family Health.
Everyone who visits the October 8 Halloween Costume Exchange can register for the opportunity to win a new children’s costume created by Fashion Club students at Santiago High School. Each designer from Santiago High School Fashion Club who creates a children’s costume will receive a $100 gift card from The Shops at Dos Lagos for creating an original children’s Halloween costume.
