Emcee: Elaine Lewis, owner of Simply Elegant Gift Baskets
Elaine Lewis began her career in the corporate world after earning a Bachelor of Science degree from San Diego State University. She worked as an accountant, promoting through the ranks, ultimately to the position of Director of General Accounting. After marrying and having two daughters, she made a drastic career change, in order to be more available to her children. She left the corporate world to begin a career in direct sales, where she took a $100 investment and turned it into a Half-Million dollar per year organization, and earned many accolades in that industry throughout her 18-year tenure. Utilizing the entrepreneurial skills she acquired as the COE (Chief of Everything) in her business, she created Simply Elegant Gift Baskets.
With her eighteen years of experience in designing, creating, marketing and selling gift baskets, and a personal experience in receiving a beautiful basket as a new homeowner, she chose to focus on leveraging the power of gift-giving by creating customer appreciation systems and gifts for her clients. Elaine is passionate about helping business owners nurture relationships with their clients to create an environment of trust, loyalty, and profitability.
In addition, we will be honoring the following businesses:
- Jim Dorsey Photography (excellence in service)
- Larry H. Miller Toyota Corona (excellence in retail)
- Atkinson/Walsh, JV (excellence in manufacturing)
And educators:
- Kathee Magaña (Garretson Elementary)
- Pete D'Agostino (Auburndale Intermediate)
