About the Speaker:
Ann Oliver’s background includes participating in all aspects of membership development, fund raising, human resources, legislative issues, conferences, conventions, education programs, etc as well as separate "for profit" organizations. She has also been an active Real Estate Sales Associate and sold residential, commercial property all over California for over 30 years.
About the topic:
This free workshop is for entrepreneurs who are just wanting to start their own business and have no idea where to start or what to consider. Topics will include: defining your reasons why you want to do this, your business concept or ideas, and what start-up factors to consider. These factors will range from a wide variety of topics such as ownership, financing your business, recordkeeping, understanding your competition, marketing, and the basic business plan. This workshop will give you the opportunity to decide if being in business is right for you!
