Description
A Sustainable Long-term Growth Model Developed for Chambers of Commerce.
Introduction
Times have changed... recruiting and retaining new members is harder... consistent revenue sources are elusive... profitability is under stress... technology had undermined the "networking" benefit of Chamber membership. Event the conceptual relevance of the Chamber of Commerce has come into question!
Framework 2020 addresses these challenges. It teaches a proven business model with 21st century strategies and solutions that focus on relevance, revenue and profitability... ensuring sustainable long-term growth.
A Framework 2020 mini-conference is designed to...
- address "big picture" topics at the management/board level, then...
- bring in front-line staff and volunteers for dynamic membership sales/retention training,
- followed by a Q&A and Brainstorming session for all-day attendees, plus...
- there are ample networking opportunities with other Chamber executives.
Framework 2020 attendees are exposed to a host of fresh ideas and turnkey strategies. They leave thinking creatively, productively and energized to start implementing what they have just learned.
Session Descriptions
Framework 2020 Chamber Growth Model (9:30am - 11:45am)
Things have changed dramatically. People question the relevance and need for a Chamber of Commerce. The old 20th-century Chamber business model is worn out. Not only has technology changed but people think and behave differently. Memberships are not valued as they once were. Revenue sources are more elusive. Chamber events are no longer the prime venue for networking opportunities.
This session is jammed with thought-provoking material to encourage Chamber management and board members to start implementing a business model that recognizes the challenges and realities of today and provides turnkey tools, resources and strategies that achieve sustainable long-term growth, profitability and community leadership in this ever-changing world.

Q&A + Brainstorming (2:30pm - 3:30pm)
Did you ever leave a conference and then say to yourself "I wish I had asked such-and-such a question?" Well, this is your opportunity to ask the questions you didn't ask in the morning session.
In addition, as a FREE added benefit, you may invite a Chamber colleague (non attendee) to join you. Sometimes you want to get a hold of some key person who should have been there and drag them down!
SUGGESTED ATTENDEES: Board members current and future.
