Fernando Jones & My Band! Rhythm Lounge

Blues Kids Foundation is proud to state that their Blues Kids Camp in June 2011 was an enormous success. The introduction of the "free" Blues Camp by Professor Fernando Jones this past summer at the home of the Kids Rock Free Program, The Fender Center was an invaluable experience. 

Thirty one kids participated in this one-week camp under the tutelage under such greats as Stanley Banks, Felton Crews and Dan Smith himself, Legendary Fender Hall of Famer to name a few. Some campers were able to attend both the Corona & Chicago camps where the musical learning experience and mentoring were a dream come true. 

Due to the enormous success of Cali Blues Camp 2011, Blues Kids Foundation will be having their 2nd Annual Blues Kids Camp in June 2012. In addition to the Camp in Corona, Blues Kids Foundation also provides scholarships for deserving students to the Blues Camp in Chicago in July 2012.

Many exciting events have been taking place at the Fender Center for the Blues Kids. In October, the 1st Annual Blues Kids Run, Jog & Walk-A-Thon took place. Many community members partnered to support Blues Kids. This is the beginning of great things to come.

The Fender Center will be opening their doors to the Holiday Blues Camp Benefit Concert on Friday, December 9th from 6.00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Come join us for an evening of Blues, fun, food and entertainment. This is an adult only event and tickets are $25 per person. If you desire to buy a VIP ticket for $50 per person, you will be entitled to a special hour of Meet & Greet with Fernando Jones, VIP seating and some surprises await you.
