Crossroads is hosting a screening for the movie The Great Alaskan Race. The movie takes place in Alaska, 1925. Diphtheria has struck the town of Nome, and has taken a harsh toll on the children in this small town. A group of brave mushers travel 700 miles to retrieve and return the nearest vaccine. This is based on the true story of Leonhard Seppala and sled dogs Balto and Togo, whose heroism inspired the Iditarod Race.
