These weekly briefings feature updates critical to the business sector, and varies in topic based on what's relevant now. Wednesday, September 9, our call will feature keynote Mike Hestrin, Riverside County District Attorney. INSIDE SCOOP - The Good, The Bad and The Ugly... as DA Hestrin (The Good) will provide an update on our Courts (The Bad) and Legal System (The Ugly)..... DA Hestrin is always engaging and will welcome questions.
Additional speakers include:
Altie Holcomb, Field Representative for State Senator Richard Roth will be sharing about CalSavers, the State's new retirement savings for employers with over 100 employees. There is a deadline for submission (September 30), and Altie will provide pertinent information for those businesses.
Jessica Gonzales, Economic Development Director for the City of CORONA will be share a couple of areas - including What's New Coming to CORONA, and our upcoming seminar REOPENING YOUR RESTAURANT - it is a free seminar / workshop for September 15.
County update from Wendell Bugtai, Land and Use Policy Advisor, County of Riverside, 2nd District, Supervisor Karen Spiegel's office. Wendell will share about Transportation Projects, the Census and Masks are Medicine Campaign.
Derek Gallup from UFC Gyms Global will be sharing some news about the Fitness Industry and plans moving forward.
Our Legislative Updates will be from Jeff Gibson on important legislation that will be on the November Ballot and the CORONA Chamber will be introducing a grassroots campaign for reopening Riverside County!
