California is in the last few days of the regularly scheduled legislative schedule, so we will go over the legislative status of:

- Emergency Leave Provisions: Bills have been focused specifically on leave during C-19 emergency and related emergency orders--this is a major victory
- Workers Compensation: Bills discussed last week include AB 196, which is on the floor of the Senate for voting and would create non-rebutable presumption that all C-19 infections are workplace related
- Taxes: 10-20% hikes in income taxes are still on the table, but awaiting Senate action (AB 1253)
