Description
This group is made up of non-profit and service organization groups and meets monthly to review the calendar and exchange information about planning events. Anyone is welcome to attend, especially those who are looking for volunteer opportunities.
For this first meeting of the year, we have coordinated a discussion for the topic of "How to Run an Event in Corona."
The goal is to cover laws, protocols, regulations and permits that are required for doing events in Corona such as casino gaming / poker tournaments, walks, fundraising parties, mixers / expo's, and many others. We hope to help things along for both non-profits and the City for smoother event planning and execution, which we believe will result in more positive experiences in our community.
