Blues Kids of America – Corona Camp and Benefit Concert
The Blues has come to Corona and it’s back for the holidays! Blues Camp was successfully launched for the first time at the Fender Center last summer giving student musicians (ages 8 – 17) a chance to experience the root of American music. Fernando Jones, founder and renowned American Bluesman said, “We provide these Blues Kids a priceless hands-on experience they can’t get anywhere else, with professional instruction, culminating in a full concert showcasing their talent.”
To kick-start fundraising efforts supporting the camp, Jones is headlining the Holiday Blues Camp Benefit Concert on December 9th at the Fender Center, 365 N. Main St., Corona, CA. The event is from 6 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. VIP tickets include a cocktail hour “Meet & Greet” with Fernando Jones, VIP seating, and other surprises available for $50 per person. General admission tickets for the concert, which begins at 7 p.m., are available for $25. Proceeds will support the 2012 summer Blues Camp and Kids Rock Free. Join Mr. Jones, his invited guest performers and the Blues Kids for some holiday fun! This tax deductible event is great for holiday business and company parties.
