Blues Camp Teachers Workshop

Description

This hands-on, interactive and entertaining session is designed to engage administrators and teachers (pre-K through university), while helping improve literacy, attendance, discipline and greater academic success using America’s root music, the Blues.

Culturally relevant teaching strategies will also be demonstrated and supported by the integration of technology and live music. Strategies will be modeled and participants will partake in exercises that can be taken back into their classrooms. Some will even receive harmonicas.
