Norco“Horsetown USA” has the honor of being the host for the RFDTV show Best of Americaby HorsebackGrand Tour 2011. This will be the first time in the show’s history an entire City will be a featured equestrian trail destination.
Best of America by Horsebackis a top quality television series that takes viewers across the United Statesto beautiful riding locations. Hosted by Tom Seay, the show is scenic, educational and informative. It is designed to give horse owners the confidence and knowledge to travel to these wonderful locations with their own horses.This National television series showcases a different riding destination each week on RFDTV. The programming offers a weekly episode that shows off the beauty that Americahas to offer by horseback. You can view this program on RFDTV on Tuesdays at 4 pm PST, with an encore airing on Wednesdays at 6 am PST.
Steve Edwards(www.muleranch.com) will be one of two featured clinicians attending this event. Steve has been a contributing writer for Western Mule, Mules and More, Rocky Mountain Rider, Trail Rider, and Bridle & Bit magazines. Steve was also featured in Western Horseman in 1999. He was instrumental in establishing the first Mule Training Apprenticeship Program in the newly expanded equine program at PierceCollegein Woodland Hills, California, and more recently in Arizona, at CentralArizonaCollege. Tom Seay said, "We are so pleased to have Steve's incredible talents showcased with us. His ability to relate to any level rider on virtually any equine topic is quite impressive."
Joining Steve is World Champion trainer, Dave Robart. Dave owns and operates Pleasant Hill Training Centerin Eastern, North Carolina. Dave's method of training, using his patented Pinchless Bits and positive reinforcement have provided training solutions for horses that other trainers have labeled problem horses. His passion for horses began at 11 years old, exercising race horses in California, and continued through his teen years when he began breaking horses with his father, a trainer of Roy Rogers’ horses.
Del Shields, Western musician/song writer and poet (“the cowboy with the velvet voice”) will round out this impressive line-up. This is a once in a life time event one you will not want to miss.
