Online registration will close at 10am on August 2\, but walk-ins are welcome and encouraged.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the speaker:\n\n\n\nLeah has been a Police Officer since 2002 for the Corona Police Department. She is a mother of two boys and married to a fellow Police Officer. She has mainly been assigned to patrol\; however\, she has held a variety of ancillary assignments. She is a member of the Honor Guard team\, so she attends many funerals for fallen police officers. She is also a sniper on the SWAT team. Leah has worked in the traffic bureau as a traffic collision investigator. She was a Mounted Unit officer and owned two horses while on the team. She is currently assigned to the Training Bureau\, training approximately 220 employees\, 160 of whom are sworn police officers. She also conducts background investigations and assists with hiring. Outside of work\, she enjoys soccer\, volleyball and running half marathons. She stays busy with her two sons as they play ice hockey. She loves teaching and sharing her experiences within law enforcement.
