Description
Balancing Work and Life
The demands and expectations placed on today’s professional and working women are more taxing then ever and can keep you from achieving professional success as well as from living a full and satisfying life. If you feel you have the passion and drive to become a leader, or you are not accomplishing as much as you would like to, we invite you to join us Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at the Sizzler Restaurant where the Corona Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the City of Corona, presents "Balancing Work and Life” as part of the Women’s Leadership Luncheon series.
Our special guest Karen Spiegel, is an active member of our community involved in many civic and business activities, owns a local e-commerce/publishing company, has five children and one grandson, and has served as an elected official in Corona for many years. As Mayor and Council Member, Karen serves on many Local, Regional and State Boards and Organizations. She graduated from California State University in Long Beach and did her graduate studies at Pepperdine University, receiving a Masters Degree and was a Marriage Family Counselor (MFC) for over twenty-five years.
You will hear about tools that help to achieve balance and cultivate personal and professional fulfillment. Karen will lead us as we begin to examine our lives and trying to get them in balance. She will share important concepts, 10 Principles for Successful Work-Life Balance and the importance of a Mentor, as well as many other strategies and practical tips.
You do not need to be a member of the Chamber to participate, just someone interested in personal growth. For more information, feel free to contact Stephanie Shapiro at the Chamber (951) 737-3350.
Topic changes each month. Come learn and mingle in a more intimate setting.
