Description
Local businesses to be recognized at Corona Chamber State of the City Address
On Thursday, March 12, the Corona Chamber of Commerce will host the annual State of the City Address, featuring Mayor Eugene Montanez. The luncheon is open to the public, with Montanez’s address focused to the business community. Also taking place will be a Business & Health Expo, which is free to attend and features many giveaways. If you would like to purchase tickets to the luncheon, please call the Chamber at (951) 737-3350 or log on to www.CORONAchamber.org.
Top businesses and leaders will converge at this event, where local businesses will be honored for their contributions to the community. Receiving the Award of Excellence in Retail is NCH Galleries. NCH Galleries opened its doors in 1990 as a neighborhood boutique and art gallery. They offer fine gifts, jewelry, home decor and unique art. Located in the Corona Hills Plaza Shopping Center, NCH is a place you’ll definitely want to check out.
Receiving the Award of Excellence in Service is Lionel E. Rentschler, D.D.S., F.A.G.D. Since 1965, Dr. Rentschler has been making people smile. Together with his daughter Dr. Lisa Rentschler, they share their love of dentistry by helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their care. Their practice is dedicated to providing patients with the highest quality of esthetics and individualized dental care. We are proud to recognize Dr. Rentschler, and celebrate his 50 years in business.
The creation of products and materials is essential to any free market economy, and Corona is fortunate to be home to almost 300 manufacturers. Saleen Automotive Inc. creates high performance vehicles for street and track, including the S7 supercar, the S281, the race/road SR and the N2O Focus. The company also produces and markets a broad line of performance parts, as well as offers customizable design, engineering and certification services to diverse end markets, and their designs are often used in the entertainment industry.
Without the passion and service of non-profit organizations, our community would not be as special as it is. Food Runners is a life skills program that provides the opportunity to serve others. Their youth volunteers are encouraged to make decisions and work as a team experiencing leadership and responsibility skills by participating and organizing hospitality and charitable service projects throughout the community, providing them with work readiness skills and charity awareness. It is with pleasure that we tribute the Outstanding Non-Profit Award to the Food Runners Club.
Please join us in celebrating these businesses on Thursday, March 12, and sharing in the vision of Corona Mayor Eugene Montanez. For more information, log on to www.CORONAchamber.org, or scan the QR code.
