Businesses that have submitted a Corona 2020 form to be acknowledged at March 20th, 2019 City Council Meeting

CORONA 2020 and recognition!
 
Congratulations on hiring NEW employees! Because of your efforts, we want to recognize your success. In a public/private partnership, the CORONA Chamber and the City of Corona have introduced the CORONA 2020 program. 
 
On Wednesday, March 20, your company will be recognized along with other businesses who have hired new employees. Every new employee hired in a CORONA based organization could save hours of driving time on the freeways.
 
Please plan to meet me at the City Council Chambers (400 S Vicentia Avenue, Corona, CA 92882) at 6:15pm. There is ample parking to the north side of City Hall. 
 
The City Council meeting will begin at 6:30pm and typically this recognition is done as one of the first few items. For time scheduling purposes, plan to be present until 7:15pm; however, once the official recognition is completed, you are free to depart from the City Council Meeting.
 
We will have one of our professional photographers present that night to capture photos of the entire group. If you would like to have individual photos with Chamber officers, we can arrange those immediately following the presentation at the Council Meeting.
 
Again, CONGRATULATIONS and we look forward to recognizing your company at our next City Council meeting for adding new employees to the City of Corona, as part of our Corona 2020 program (see attached).

ABOUT the Program – CORONA 2020
The Corona Chamber, in partnership with the City of Corona will monitor and promote positive results in three main focus areas: Employment | Healthcare | Infrastructure 
 
This recognition specifically pertains to the Employment portion of the Corona 2020. We will be tracking and reporting to the Corona City Council every quarter on companies within our sphere of influence that have hired new employees. Our program began in September 2017 and runs through December 31, 2020. We are recognizing businesses with NET growth beginning September 2017, meaning, if you had two vacancies, unfilled or terminations and replaced those positions, those would not be NET. However, if you hired three or more employees in this same example, then you would have NET growth in your employee count. Please continue to keep us posted as you add employees. Recognition at the City Council will be one time per business. 
 
ABOUT the Recognition:
Date of recognition: Wednesday, March 20th   
Time: 6:15pm (actual meeting is slated to begin at 6:30pm)
Length of time: typically we are completed by 7:15pm
Location: City of Corona, City Council Chambers (400 S. Vicentia Avenue, Corona, CA 92882)
What to expect:

• Typically the Mayor brings up a group of businesses.
• The Chamber announces the various names and net jobs brought to our region.
• The City and Chamber provides a framed certificate specific to the Corona 2020 program and personalized for each company.
• Group photo taken with City and Chamber officers after all businesses named.
